The story of Battilani begins in 1943 when Tomaso Battilani, after his stints with important industries like FERRARI (1932-1934) and FIAT (1935-1943), decided to start his own firm. And so BATTILANI TOMASO (now BATTILANI CAV. TOMASO E FIGLI S.r.l.) was born.

From the beginning BATTILANI CAV. TOMASO E FIGLI has always designed and produced grinding machines. More specifically bandsaw and circular saw grinders and industrial knife grinders for machines such as: veneer cutting machines, sheet metal shears as well as paper, cork and tobacco industry cutters. Through the years we've kept studying new solutions (which we've regularly patented), we've constantly experimented and evolved, and so have our machines. Right now we can offer a wide range of efficient and very specialized grinders

Recently BATTILANI has certified all its machines according to safety standards of Machine Directives 89/336/EEC, 89/392/EEC, 73/23/EEC. All our machines now come with a EC STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE. An important goal of which we're very proud, as well as a guarantee to all our customers.
